The Intermediate English Language Course was organized by the Education Committee of Hoviat Organization to support women from Afghanistan and Canada by providing access to free educational opportunities and strengthening their English language skills. The program also aimed to create a supportive learning environment where participants could improve their communication abilities and share learning experiences.

Over the course of 12 weeks, participants developed essential English language skills, including paragraph structure and writing, reading and comprehension of short stories, regular speaking practice to improve fluency, interactive discussions, self-introduction and expressing opinions in English, and conversation exercises based on topics selected by the participants.

A significant number of participants attended the sessions regularly and actively engaged in class activities. The learning environment provided valuable opportunities for practicing English and building confidence in using the language.

The course resulted in noticeable improvements in participants’ English language abilities, particularly in speaking and reading comprehension. For future programs, it is recommended to place greater emphasis on speaking skills, vocabulary development, practical grammar exercises, and increased interactive and group-based activities.
